What is Blended Learning at Kern Learn?

Blended learning at Kern Learn combines the flexibility of working from home with the support of in-person instruction. As an independent studies program, most of your coursework will take place online through Canvas, where you’ll complete lessons, assignments, and assessments at your own pace with guidance from your teachers.

However, some parts of your education require you to come to campus. This includes:

• Hands-on labs or science experiments

• Special projects or assignments that require in-person support

• State-mandated testing and assessments

• Occasional check-ins or tutoring sessions based on your needs

This blended model gives you the best of both worlds: the independence to learn on your own schedule, and the in-person help you need to stay on track and succeed.
