Activities
Kern Learn’s blended learning program offers students a unique opportunity to pursue a rigorous, college-prep academic experience while staying fully connected to their home schools. By combining flexible online coursework with in-person support from highly qualified teachers, students can manage their academic responsibilities around the schedules of their home school activities. This includes full participation in athletics, performing arts, student leadership, and other extracurricular programs that are integral to the comprehensive high school experience.
Students enrolled in Kern Learn remain eligible to compete in all sports offered at their home schools, such as football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, track and field, soccer, baseball, softball, cheer, and even emerging programs like Esports. Because the program is designed with flexibility in mind, students can attend practices, games, and competitions without the conflict of traditional classroom scheduling. This allows them to train, travel, and compete at a high level while continuing to meet academic expectations through Kern Learn’s personalized learning model.
Through Kern Learn, students not only maintain academic progress but also continue to build meaningful social connections, contribute to team culture, and represent their schools with pride. Whether they are on the court, the field, or the stage, students can enjoy all the benefits of comprehensive campus life without compromising their academic goals.
Our program’s flexible design ensures students never have to choose between their education and their passions. Instead, they thrive in a supportive environment that values both academic excellence and active participation in the home school community. Kern Learn is committed to helping students succeed in every aspect of their high school journey—academically, athletically, and socially.
